The company has a long legacy of supplying linear bar code readers, and has continued to expand product functionality with the addition of Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) decoding, Electronic Article Security (EAS) integration, 2D bar code reading, and imaging technologies to these industries. Adding RFID to the mobile and wireless computer, fixed-position and handheld bar code scanner portfolios is a natural extension to PSC's current product lines.
