Warehouse Labeling
Successfully labeling a warehouse or distribution center is not an easy task. Imprint’s Label specialists can help provide solutions to some of the most demanding applications present in automating a warehouse. Some variables to be considered are: type of storage (racking, bulk floor, bins, shelves dynamic and cages), type of equipment (man up or man down, short or long range scanners, legacy equipment or new) and environmental conditions ( climatic variations, dust, grease and surface material).
Do you have long range scanning requirements? If so, utilizing retro reflective material, we can enhance your scanning capabilities using your existing data collection equipment. The surface of this polyester based material blends microscopic glass beads that reflect the scanners laser much like a mirror. The “x” dimension or MIL size can be adjusted to accomplish the desirable scan distance. Typically, a 100 MIL barcode can be from as far away as 50” with some long range scanners. All reflective labels are protected with a durable .002” thick gloss laminate and can incorporate graphics and color.
Warehouse Magnets
If warehouse location changes and additions periodically arise, a magnet/label combination may be the solution to your temporary applications whether they are short or long term. All magnets are .030" in thickness and are typically cut 1/8" to 1/4" larger than the applied label. Magnets can be applied in freezer environmnets and and work well in warehouse environments on vertical beams and steel racks.
Rack and Bin Location Labels are utilized to identify and track specific locations within your facility. Multicolored graphics for tier identification are both visually attractive and functional. Directional references such as up/down arrows and bar code symbologies allow automated location verification and clear human readable instruction.
