CommandCenter® Secure Gateway is a management appliance that provides unified,
secure access to KVM, serial, and power ports of data center devices via a web
browser. Compatible with Raritan's Dominion® Series, Paragon®, IP-Reach®
and CommandCenter® NOC, CC-Secure Gateway provides centralized policy and
security management of users and devices connected to Raritan's products,
other embedded solutions like HP iLO/RILOE, IPMI, and in-band software solutions.
CommandCenter Secure Gateway delivers a secure, powerful, and effective user-friendly
management solution through features including 128-bit encryption, flexible
authentication options (LDAP, Active Directory®, RADIUS, and TACACS+), integration
with CC-NOC, comprehensive reporting capabilities, customizable views, and SNMP
traps.
CommandCenter Secure Gateway can aggregate console access to devices in multiple
local or remote data centers providing a simple, centralized gateway to diagnose
and resolve problems quickly.

Formerly known as CommandCenter, CommandCenter Secure Gateway is a Raritan management
appliance that aggregates and integrates multiple servers and network equipment
deployed in data centers. It connects to Raritan Dominion® Paragon®
and IP-Reach appliances. It also provides a single point of access to HP
iLO/RILOE and RILOE II cards.
As you deploy more data center servers and devices, IT management becomes increasingly complex. CommandCenter Secure Gateway allows an IT administrator to access, manage and view all servers, equipment and users from a single remote device.
CommandCenter Secure Gateway can manage Raritan's Dominion® KX KVM-over-IP
switches, Dominion SX serial-over-IP console servers, Dominion KSX remote
office appliance, and CommandCenter NOC. When used with Paragon® II
System Controller (P2-SC), CommandCenter Secure Gateway allows access and
control of multiple Paragon II analog KVM switches and the servers connected
to them. The P2-SC also provides single sign-on, and centralized authentication/authorization
of remote Paragon II users and enables administrators to centrally perform
administrative functions on Paragon II switches.
CommandCenter Secure Gateway uses a powerful proprietary search and discovery technology to identify and connect to selected Raritan devices. Once CommandCenter Secure Gateway is connected and set up, device connection is transparent and administration is simple.
No. The software for CommandCenter Secure Gateway resides on a dedicated appliance. So even if the device being proxied by CommandCenter Secure Gateway is not operating, you can still access CommandCenter Secure Gateway.
Yes. The latest versions of firmware can be downloaded from the Support area of www.raritan.com. CommandCenter Secure Gateway also comes with a CD/ROM drive to facilitate installs/upgrades. Upgrades are usually done through CommandCenter Secure Gateway's client GUI. Contact your authorized Raritan sales representative or Raritan directly.
There is no specified limit to the number of login accounts that can be created. However the number of concurrent users accessing CommandCenter Secure Gateway is limited by your licensing restrictions.
